Injection molding is a process of shaping plastic by melting it and injecting it into a mold. The process uses injection molding machines that augur the resins to produce everything from automotive bumpers, medical syringes, and plastic glasses to children’s toys. Machines consists of two basic elements: the injection unit and clamping unit.
The mold is clamped under pressure to accommodate the injection and cooling process. Resins are fed into the machine along with colorants.
